The 1.0 litre Ecoboost engine arrives in the 2012 Ford Focus
Ford has announced that the new Focus is now available with the 1.0 litre Ecoboost 3-cylinder engine in 100 PS and 125 PS options. Back in September, Ford revealed that it planned to install its new pocket-sized engine – the new 3-cylinder 1.0 litre Ecoboost – in to the new Ford Focus, giving the Focus the power of a naturally aspirated 1.6 litre petrol, but with improved economy and lower emissions. And now it’s arrived.
James May Science Museum App
If you fancy the idea of Top Gear’s James May teaching you science then a new App from the Science Museum is right up your street. Regular Top Gear viewers may remember Messrs Clarkson, May and Hammond taking on ‘Art’ a few seasons ago to teach Northerners how to appreciate galleries. Caterham Group has announced it’s sold Caterham F1 to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors. Caterham cars is not part of the sale. In a statement issued today, the sale of the team was said to allow the Caterham Group to focus on its ‘core activities’ that include the British car maker.
